Straßeninformationsbank Schleswig-Holstein: Quality assurance of federal and state roads in Schleswig-Holstein

Project

  • First time quality assurance on the entire road network of a federal state in one project

  • Axle cleansing through newly recorded road axes with D-GNSS
  • Use of AI in road data acquisition for selected objects (e.g. delineators, StVO signs, manholes, drains)
  • Provision of the complete project status and all driving images as well as road data on a web server (GNsPforte) for the customer

  • Detection of clearance heights of structures, gantries and other objects by means of laser scanning on all freeways, federal highways and selected state roads
  • Determination of the number of lanes under the structures
  • Inspection/recording of clearance heights in relation to lanes by means of mobile laser scanning (MLS) on bridges, traffic sign bridges/cantilevers, trough structures, etc.
  • Evaluation of point clouds, determination of clearance heights
  • Creation of dimensional sketches with lanes, clearance heights, images and map sections

Road Information Bank Hesse: Acquisition of a tunnel facility of the A 66

Project

  • Number of employees involved: approx. 4
  • Lane-by-lane detection of the Neuhof tunnel system in the course of the A 66 with image inspection and laser scan
  • Extension of our viewer for the simulation of the passage restriction of truck/heavy load transports not only in height and width but also in plan and elevation (consideration of hulls/tops and curves!)
  • Single image acquisition, scan data collection per lane
  • Evaluation/calculation of the data
  • Determination of the entire clearance profile (clearance heights and clearance widths)
